Maximum Hand Luggage Weight

Depending on the airline and the class you’re flying, there are different weight limits for your cabin luggage. Whilst two pieces of luggage at 8 kg are allowed in the cabins of most business classes, you would have to limit your belongings to only one piece weighing 8 kg in economy or economy plus. In very few cases, airlines would only allow 6 kg (Condor), while Emirates and Cathay Pacific limit combined luggage weight to 7 kg. On Ryanair, carry on luggage has to be below 10 kg, while Air France and KLM allow up to 12 kg and only easyJet would allow maximum weight of 15kg hand luggage. The absolute standard on Lufthansa and Eurowings flights, however, is always around 8 kg.
