My Music My Journey with Blond:ish
Meet the vibrant DJ, producer, and environmental activist
Vivie-Ann Bakos, aka Blond:ish, is so much more than a DJ and producer. On her journey to revolutionise the music industry and lead everyone to Happy Happy World, she is all about optimism, freedom, and eco-activism. Whether she plays 80s disco, afro house, or psychedelic techno, performs at globally renowned festivals or at the latest NFT conference, her expert selections are always energizing, positive, and beautifully rhythmic. In 2018, Vivie-Ann founded Bye Bye Plastic, a foundation removing single-use plastics from the music industry. In our interview, learn how one fateful morning in Brasil inspired her to use her voice to create social impact and why she thinks NFTs are changing music artistry for the better.
Three Questions with Blond:ish
Q: What do you love most about what you do?
A: Touching people’s emotions. Planting seeds in their lives without even knowing.
Q: Where are you off to next?
A: Antarctica! I’m so excited to explore the natural world there.
Q: Where and how can we join your journey to Happy Happy World, your vision for the metaverse?
A: I really want to end the one-sided fan-to-artist dynamic, and open up my world to all of you. Enter $ISH: the first token launched on P00LS, a new decentralised exchange for creator tokens. $ISH will be officially minted by P00LS early next year, but you can start working towards earning tokens now by sharing my music, content, and $ISH token news on social media. As the gateway to Happy Happy World, the token gives holders exclusive access to unreleased edits and tracks, new merch and discounts, and access to token-gated channels on my Discord server. My community is also active on Abracadabra TV, where you’re always welcome to join!
