HORIZN ART PROGRAMME FUNDS EMERGING ARTISTS

Horizn Studios has been deeply connected with the arts and the creative community from day one. Not only are our founders avid lovers and long-term supporters of the arts – the entire brand has creative culture running through its veins, from music to fine arts.

Through the Horizn Art Programme, Horizn Studios supports young emerging artists from all over the world on their journey to creative excellence. Following our core values of “Curiosity, Creativity and Collaboration,” we constantly seek to collaborate and empower exceptional talents.

A journey to the unknown

We collaborate with an international network of art professionals who support us to uncover the most inspiring rising artists from regions that are not yet visible to the global art world. By inviting regional experts, we aim for discovery beyond our direct reach. Through the art programme, we aim to support young emerging artists from all over the world who thus far work mostly under the radar of the established international art scene.

How does the Horizn Discovery Award work?

The curatorial team of Horizn Art Programme appoints one Advisory Board Member per year who nominates upcoming artists from a certain region with new works without any restraints in format. The Horizn Discovery Award funds one project per year.

Scope
The selected project will be granted a production award of EUR 10000 and honoured at our annual Horizn Art Award Night.

Empowering the new

Biennials allow courageous curatorial concepts to address urgent issues of our times. This exhibition format often calls for new commissions which we would like to encourage with our Horizn Biennial Award. We aim to support new projects produced within the framework of an international biennial.

How does the Horizn Biennial Award work?

The curatorial team of Horizn Art Programme elects one biennial each year. We invite the respective curators to nominate three new projects which are to be produced for their upcoming biennial. The Horizn Biennial Award funds one project per year.

Scope
The selected project will be granted a production award of €5000 and honoured at our annual Horizn Art Award Event.
