Smart Luggage Warranty

The definition of HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGE refers to the following product groups: Cabin Model M, Cabin Model H, Check-In Model H and the Pro Model ST.

Without prejudice to any statutory rights, Horizn Studios GmbH grants purchasers of a HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGE the following 100-day voluntary right of return and the following warranties.

These rights and warranties shall only apply to the first purchaser of a HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGE, who purchased it directly from Horizn Studios GmbH (under horizn-studios.com or in a Horizn Studios store) or from one of the official distribution partners of Horizn Studios GmbH (hereinafter "You"), and these rights and warranties cannot be transferred to any third party.

§ A. 100-DAY VOLUNTARY RIGHT OF RETURN REGARDING HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGE

Without prejudice to the statutory right of withdrawal, Horizn Studios GmbH grants You a voluntary right of return for the period of 100 days from receipt of the good. Provided that You return the HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGE to Horizn Studios GmbH within 100 days from receipt, Horizn Studios GmbH will refund to You the purchase price paid.

Please request a return label for this purpose by email to support@horizn-studios.com. Return shipment from a place within the EU is free of charge for You. For any return shipment from a place outside the EU, please contact support@horizn-studios.com. Refund of the purchase price will be made within 4 weeks after we have received the HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGE returned by You.

This voluntary right of return does not restrict your statutory right of withdrawal or your statutory warranty rights.

§ B. WARRANTIES REGARDING THE HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGE

The following warranties shall apply without prejudice to the statutory warranty rights You as a purchaser may be entitled to according to Sections 437 et seqq. of the German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch/BGB). These warranties are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the applicability of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

1. 30-YEARS WARRANTY FOR CASE, WHEELS, HANDLES AND ZIPPERS

1.1. SCOPE AND TERM

Subject to the provisions set forth below, Horizn Studios GmbH warrants to You that the following defects will not occur in the HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGE:
a. Cracks or breakages in the case,
b. broken-off wheels or wheels that cannot be used any more
c. handles or telescopic handles and zippers that cannot be opened or closed any more.

The warranty shall not apply to:
a. Defects caused by improper use of the HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGE
b. HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGES that were not purchased from Horizn Studios GmbH or one of the aforementioned official distribution partners and
c. HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGEs that were purchased second hand or as "graded stock" or "returns".

The warranty shall apply for a period of 30 years from the date of purchase stated on the sales receipt ("Warranty Period").

1.2. WARRANTY SERVICES
If an event covered by this warranty occurs, Horizn Studios GmbH will, in its discretion, remove the defects by repair, replacement of the defective part or replacement supply. In case of replacement supply, Horizn Studios GmbH reserves the right to deliver a HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGE of a different colour if the original colour is not available at the time.

If an event covered by this warranty occurs, Horizn Studios GmbH will repair or replace and return to You the HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGE within 30 days from receipt.

The warranty shall continue to apply to the repaired or replaced HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGE; the original Warranty Period is not extended, however.

1.3. ASSERTION OF WARRANTY CLAIM

You are entitled to a claim, if any, arising from this warranty only if You return the HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGE to Horizn Studios GmbH, together with a sales receipt and a description of the defects and photos of the defects.
For the return shipment, please request a return label by email to support@horizn-studios.com first and attach photos and a description of the defects to such email.

All claims arising from the warranty are subject to the statutory limitation period.

2. TWO-YEAR WARRANTY ON INBUILT BATTERY OF THE HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGE

2.1. SCOPE AND TERM

Subject to the provisions set forth below, Horizn Studios GmbH warrants to You that HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGE delivered to you will not show the following defects within a period of two years from the date of purchase stated on the sales receipt (Warranty Period):
The battery cannot be charged or discharged any more.
The battery cannot supply sufficient power to compatible devices any more.

The warranty shall not apply to:
a. Any slowdown in the charging process which is market standard for batteries
b. The functioning of the battery if it is charged with other than original Horizn Studios adapters or charging cables
c. Impairments to the functionality of the battery caused by improper use of the HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGE
d. Batteries in HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGES that were not purchased from Horizn Studios GmbH or one of the aforementioned official distribution partners and
e. Batteries in HORIZN STUDIOS SMART LUGGAGES that were purchased second hand or as "graded stock" or "returns".

2.2. WARRANTY SERVICES

If an event covered by this warranty occurs, Horizn Studios GmbH will, in its discretion, repair the battery or supply a replacement battery. In case of replacement supply, Horizn Studios GmbH reserves the right to deliver a battery of different colour if the original colour is not available at the time.

If an event covered by this warranty occurs, Horizn Studios GmbH will repair or replace and return the battery to You within 30 days from receipt. The warranty shall continue to apply to the repaired or replaced battery; the original Warranty Period is not extended, however.

2.3. ASSERTION OF WARRANTY CLAIM
You are entitled to a claim, if any, arising from this warranty only if You return the battery, together with a sales receipt, to Horizn Studios GmbH at the address stated below or give it back in a Horizn Studios store. For the return shipment, please request a return label by email to support@horizn-studios.com first and attach a description of the defect to such email. Horizn Studios GmbH will bear the costs for the return shipment.

All claims arising from the warranty are subject to the statutory limitation period.
